Language
All abstracts, papers, and presentation materials must be prepared and submitted in English. Submissions in other languages will not be considered.
Originality and Academic Integrity
All submissions must be original and must not have been previously published or be under review elsewhere at the time of submission. Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality of their work and for avoiding plagiarism or improper citation practices. All submitted manuscripts may undergo plagiarism screening. Submissions demonstrating substantial similarity to previously published work may be rejected at the desk-review stage without further evaluation.
Conference Format
ICPCDGR 2026 will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote participation. Presenting authors may choose to deliver their presentations either onsite in Kavala or remotely via the official conference digital platform. The scientific sessions of the conference will be broadcast through the official social media channels and the YouTube channel of the conference to ensure broad international accessibility and dissemination.
Attendance Requirement
At least one author of each accepted abstract or paper must complete registration and participate in the conference to present the work, either physically or remotely. Failure to present an accepted contribution may result in its removal from the official conference programme, Book of Abstracts, and any associated publication opportunities, including eligibility for Special Issues.
Registration Policy
All presenting authors are required to complete registration in accordance with the official conference timeline.
Co-authors who wish to attend, either in person or remotely, must also register individually.
Participation in ICPCDGR 2026 is free of charge for:
- Officials and staff members of Municipalities, Regions, and Ministries
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Faculty members (Members of Academic Staff)
- Researchers
This exemption applies provided that registration has been completed within the deadlines specified in the conference schedule. Timely registration remains mandatory for all participants, regardless of fee status.
